Anchorage Applied Kinesiology
Applied Kinesiology is a combination of biofeedback, and natural healing techniques. Sometimes referred to as “muscle testing”. It has been used for decades with great success in helping the body heal itself.
Kinesiology involves testing certain reflect points on the body known to be connected to certain organs, body functions, and muscles. We stimulate these points while simultaneously applying light pressure to a muscle and watch for any changes in the quality of strength in the muscle.
If there is a marked change in muscle strength we know something is going on with this reflex point, or the anatomy directly below the reflex point.
For example, there are two reflex points on the forehead known to stimulate the frontal brain and cognition/creativity centers. If stimulating these points causes a change in muscle response, it could either be due to the reflex points, OR an old head injury to the forehead.

Kinesiology and Food Allergies
Applied kinesiology is commonly used to address food/environmental allergies, nutritional deficiencies, muscle imbalances, pain of any kind, and can even be used to soothe emotional stress. It’s a truly wonderful modality that holds a lot of promise, and can even be learned so a person could do some simple techniques at home for pain management and improved health.
